In our last safety seat check, harness slack remains the main usage error that parents do.
To ensure snugness of the harness is actually very easy. You just need to remember the pinch test.
But don’t pinch your child!
After you have buckled your child in and adjust the harness adjuster, try to pinch the child restraint system (CRS) harness using your thumb and fore finger along the webbing of the harness.
If you can pinch it, it means it is still loose. Tighten it up and try to pinch it again until you can’t pinch it.
